The principles of Open Dialogue, originally developed in Northern Finland’s mental health response service (which is still practiced today with extraordinary success) are, (1) immediate help, (2) polyphony/dialogism, (3) flexibility/mobility, (4) social network involvement, (5) psychological continuity, (6) responsibility, and (7) tolerance of uncertainty.
