Open Digital Services (ODS) was established together with Openbank as a pivotal part of Santander Group’s technical innovation in digital banking. Openbank had the mission of proving digital banking is the future, while ODS as tech company had the mission of enabling Openbank’s creation and expansion. Since then, we've developed a state-of-the-art banking platform. Our technology is highly reusable, allowing us to quickly customize the brand’s appearance and tailor specific functionalities for each new market. Thanks to our platform Openbank currently operates in Spain, Portugal, Germany, and the Netherlands, and is set to expand to Mexico and the United States this year thanks to our technology. Today, what started as a small start-up within Santander Group, has evolved into a cornerstone of innovation. Our new mission now includes scaling our cutting-edge platform to support -not only Openbank’s expansion, but also- Santander’s global expansion and the Retail&Commercial banking innovation, making us a critical player in the future of how banks operate and interact with the customer.
