Enfield is one of London’s largest boroughs with a population of over 333,000 and is home to nearly 14,000 businesses, including the names such as Microsoft, Amazon, Johnson Matthey, Bunzl Healthcare, Hensoldt UK (formerly Kelvin Hughes), Beavertown Brewery, Warburtons, Eggfree Cake Box, Coca Cola, Arla Foods, Tottenham Hotspur FC (training ground), OMA Film Studios, Troubadour, and BloQs. Enfield Council is unashamedly pro-enterprise and local job creation is a key priority for us. To achieve this the OpEn Enfield campaign has the aim of accelerating the borough’s economic growth and job creation through attracting inward investment from across the UK and further afield. Enfield has always been one of London’s most important business destinations and home to a wide range of commercial sectors. As well as being a strong economic performer, Enfield is a rarity in London in that there is significant scope, including land for development, to accommodate and drive substantially more growth at affordable prices.
