ODIN - Open Discovery Innovation Network

ODIN is a collaboration platform running from 2024-2029 sponsored by the Novo Nordisk Foundation with up to 180 M DKK. ODIN aims to break down the barriers between industry and academia to support precompetitive research in a collaborative, open environment. We aim to accelerate drug discovery through shared knowledge. We fund the academic participation in joint research project across industry and academia. The research projects must address the needs and challenges in the pharma industry, but project ideas can arise both in industry and academia. The funded ODIN projects must share their knowlede and results openly without IP. To spur new ideas, ODIN hosts ideation and matchmaking events, and we help facilitate matchmaking across the industry-academia divide.
