OPEN-SCS (Serialization Communication Standard)

The OPEN-SCS (Serialization Communication Standard) Working Group was founded in 2014 to define a standard for interoperability of serialization solutions in order to allow a seamless integration of operations and business processes. Objective of the OPEN-SCS Working Group is to define, publish and maintain a standard and companion documents for the integration of serialization solutions: - OPEN-SCS Packaging Serialization Specification (PSS) - OPC UA OPEN-SCS Companion Specification - Templates for Validation Life Cycle documents The documents are available to all members of the OPEN-SCS Working Group. To become a member, request to join at: https://www.open-scs.org/join/. The OPEN-SCS working group is open to all companies interested in participating and contributing to the OPEN-SCS standard specifications. The OPEN-SCS Working Group is an OPC Foundation Working Group and as such will apply the OPC Foundation Bylaws to the general operations of the OPEN-SCS. Close collaborates with GS1 ensures constant alignment between GS1 standards and the OPEN-SCS PSS.
