Why Open Window? We believe that art in its highest form should be a call to transcendence - a ‘window’ to the Divine and to the innermost reality of the human person and the world. “WOW! That sounds important”, you say? Yep. It is. And we take that vision seriously, though sometimes in knee-slapping, side-splitting hilarious ways. In the end, it all boils down to this: at the Open Window Theatre we want EVERYONE (the average, the not-so-average, and the connoisseur alike) to enjoy great plays and great art and to breathe easy while you do so. We want to produce theater you can believe in, so you don’t have to worry about what you might experience when you walk through our doors and so you leave wanting to come back for more. What does it mean to produce theater you can believe in? Well, we think it means exactly seven things, which form the core principles of our little theatre.
