OIX - Open Identity Exchange

Open Identity Exchange (OIX) - building trust in online identity. OIX is a non-profit trade organisation of competitors across sectors e.g. the internet, data aggregation, telecommunications and government driving the expansion of existing online identity services and the adoption of new online products. OIX helps develop and register trust frameworks: pre-negotiated sets of business, legal and technical agreements that provide stakeholders with mutual assurance that their online transactions can be trusted. OIX members form a global centre of excellence for the identity trust layer of online transactions sharing domain expertise, joint research and pilot projects to test real world use cases. Membership of OIX is open to all organisations invested in the success of online identity assurance. Our multi-tiered member program encourages organisations of all sizes to participate, collaborate and contribute to the success of our shared mission.
