Opening the Future: A Funding Model for Equitable, Sustainable Open Access Books. We’re reshaping how knowledge is disseminated and accessed by investing the collective contributions of academic libraries worldwide, funnelling them into creating a perpetually open global collection. For a modest annual fee, libraries gets DRM-free, unlimited access to a selection of a publisher's backlist, with perpetual access after three years. The membership/subscription revenue is used by the publisher solely to produce new OA monographs, moving towards an affordable, sustainable model for academic publishing free from BPCs.
