About Open Search Foundation

The Open Search Foundation supports the promotion of science and research in the field of open and free Internet search in and for Europe. For this purpose, it also promotes problem awareness and the creation of the legal-organizational framework. The Open Search Foundation e.V. is a non-profit initiative based in Starnberg (near Munich). Founded in 2018, we work on concepts for a cooperative, open and distributed Internet search in Europe. The idea is based on fundamental democratic values, independence and sovereignty. We are optimistic and passionate Europeans. We are politically and ideologically neutral and committed to the common good.
