OpentoWork(andRun)

The OpentoWork(andRun) initiative is a heartfelt endeavour driven by my ambition to make a positive impact on our local community. Combining my passion for sports and career transition, this unique initiative aims to support individuals in their job search journey while promoting an active and healthy lifestyle. At the heart of the initiative is the belief that the power of collective support and shared experiences can empower professionals to thrive during challenging career transitions. Through weekly gatherings, we come together at the scenic Le Pavillon Le Corbusier in the Chinagarten at 6:30 pm. The event commences with a warm introduction, fostering a sense of camaraderie among participants. At 6:40 pm, we embark on a relaxed run around the lake, designed to cater to all fitness levels. The length and pace of the run are tailored each week, accommodating everyone's preferences. Additionally, we create smaller groups, ensuring that participants feel comfortable and supported throughout the run. Following the invigorating run, we indulge in an enriching networking session from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm. As we wind down with drinks and friendly conversation, participants have the opportunity to share their job search journey, exchange valuable tips, and connect on a deeper level with each other. It is within this positive and uplifting environment that we foster strong professional connections and collectively inspire one another in our career pursuits. The OpentoWork(andRun) initiative thrives on the spirit of community, encouragement, and wellness.
