Operation Med School Career Conferences

Operation Med School is a non-profit, youth-run organization started in Vancouver by a group of high school students in 2012. Through its one-day conferences in various cities across North America, the organization aims toward educating youth about the journey of a medical career. At OMS, they will learn from an array of lectures as well as hands-on activities. We hope to inspire, inform and encourage students to follow their medical dreams and head bravely into their future endeavors. The first event was held in February 2013 and in 2014, OMS successfully expanded to Toronto. This event targets over 200+ intelligent and motivated high school students and allows them to learn more about the field of medicine. OMS gives students a whole new approach to medical careers through activities and lectures by medical experts. It is the perfect chance for high school students to network with professionals, current medical students, and other aspiring young doctors.
