Operative Aria LLC

OP/A (“opa”) is the Hudson Valley based, design office of Aria Jahanshahi, established in 2015. We aim to provide design services accessible to all client bases while exploring nostalgia and memory as creators of place. We believe that through minimal and thoughtful design interventions, the user has the opportunity to read his or her space, contextualize the experience and transcend the original reading. This is the making of place. It is rooted in the familiar. With a wide range of experience in residential, commercial and garden projects, we distinguish ourselves through our collaborative approach to design. Through our rigorous study of our clients' wants and needs, we develop a space that not only fulfills its function but exceeds expectations.
