OPM Education (OPM) is a non-profit organization, composed of board-certified physicians who developed a comprehensive educational curriculum to fill a void of business and practice management education in medical school and residency/fellowship training. Did you know that 8 out of 10 residents completing preparation in their respective medical specialty request more training regarding the business of medicine and practice management? That’s because less than 15% of U.S. schools offer any form of extended education. Our educational forum is designed to ensure that physicians, medical students and residents understand that having astute business acumen is critical to success, and that next generation physicians walk away with the tools required to successfully start, maintain and grow their practices.
