Opportunity GrantED

Opportunity GrantED exists to provide students with the optimal educational experience by granting classroom resources in underserved communities throughout Chicagoland. Founded in Fall 2018, Opportunity GrantED's primary goal of assisting public school teachers working in lower-income communities with additional funding and resources for their classrooms that is not covered by district budgets, our grant program applies to school classrooms grades Kindergarten through 12th grade. With plans for teachers to apply for grants bi-annually (fall & spring), the foundation will purchase items from approved grants for immediate use in classrooms. Qualifying items include but are not limited to: supplemental materials, supplies, books, and/or additional equipment to support the teachers in their curriculums to enrich the children’s educational experience.
