ProtegoPlus Electrotech Pvt. Ltd. is a low-voltage electrical design consultancy firm. We design and test electrical installations to a very high degree of safety by adhering to relevant regulations from BS 7671 (Requirements For Electrical Installations).
ProtegoPlus Electrotech Pvt. Ltd. was created to fill an obvious gap in the market- a lack of electrical design specialists in India who have an on-ground understanding of electrical installations, as well as the ability to understand, interpret and implement safety practices from international 230/400V, 50Hz markets. We saw that individuals and corporations would spend large amounts of capital to acquire real estate and to do up the interiors, however what hid behind the finessed surfaces was often neglected. There was therefore, an unseen but major threats to these spaces from faults within the electrical systems. Fires, explosions and electrical shocks, could and indeed did happen. In order to safeguard not only the financial investment, but also the lives of people within, we realised the need for a firm like
ProtegoPlus Electrotech Pvt. Ltd. works with interior designers and architects, as well as the end-users of spaces to understand their wants and needs electrically, and then design a system which can safely cater to them. We then support licensed electrical contractors (LECs) with the implementation, and finally test these installations to ensure they are erected as designed. Our clients can use their own LECs, but if required, we can recommend one.
When the cost of electrical safety is viewed as a percentage of the total investment, it turns out to be miniscule. However, this investment protects the entire property, and the invaluable lives of the people inside.
