Optimized Lighting Engineering and Design is a full service Professional Engineering firm started by our founder Brett Lorenzen, PE, LEED AP BD&C in 2018. Optimized LED was conceptualized to fulfill a gap in the Architectural Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing - MEP) industry by supporting the needs of Design Build and Trade Contractors for permitting, consultation, value engineering, on-site testing, and support.
As we have grown, we have expanded our services to traditional building design working with a number of prevalent architects in Arizona. We work on all building types but are most skilled with Retail, Office, Restaurants, Industrial, Healthcare, Higher Education, Federal, Military, State, and Municipal project types.
We hire underprivileged, high-achieving, high-school seniors for paid internships. We then provide hands-on experience, one-on-on training, and tuition assistance. Upon graduation our interns become full-time employees and begin training the next round of interns.
