ORA is focused on developing own technologies for domestic and semi-professional cooking appliances that combine high cooking performance results with energy saving while supporting the green growth and sustainable development. The Company was constituted in December 2019 with the sole purpose of develop and offer green and high-level solutions to meet the demands of the current and future consumers. Electronics, mechatronics, mechanical and manufacturing engineering combined with new composite materials science and engineering are the key expertise and platform to boost the Company projects technical objectives. ORA technical portfolio includes innovations that have been developed for application in ovens, gas and electric hobs and range hoods that guarantee greater cooking performance and reduction in wasted energy consumption while unlocking new opportunities for innovation and added value creation. The technologies are integrated with IoT to enhance the end products in versatile smart cooking appliances. In particular, ORA has developed a gas touch control system for hobs with a world first self-diagnostic electronics integrated with a program that automatically monitors and reports any abnormality (e.g. overflowing boiling pot) to the end consumers for the safe operations of the appliance.
