Oratory Society

Oratory Society is the official public speaking club at SUNY Plattsburgh. Founded in Spring 2017 by Hanh Nguyen, Lam Dinh, Sweta Bhatta, Kahmun Lee and Ha Nguyen. Our objectives: 1. To improve speaking skills and foster discussions on social matters for Plattsburgh students. 2. To provide a stress-free environment for students to voice their opinions 3. To create platforms for self-expression in form of public speaking 4. To raise awareness about issues in communication skills such as appropriate language, forming friendships, overcoming social anxiety and social exclusion
