OraVentis offers tools that optimize monitoring networks for fugitive emissions of atmospheric contaminants. Our technology, developed largely by the National Institute of Optics (INO), is based on the use of lidars and offers better space and time representation of emission phenomena. We stand out for the quality and relevance of the information we generate compared to solutions using point sensors. Our customers and users are operators in ports and within the mining and quarrying, aluminum smelters, steel plants, cement plants, and construction industries.
OraVentis markets a first product which maps dust concentrations and includes:
- an effective range of a few hundred meters,
- a resolution along the line of sight of approximately one meter,
- two-axis scanning mechanism allowing precise mapping adapted to the operational context,
- advanced event detection algorithms allowing increasing the sensitivity, relevance and representativeness of the detection of dust emissions and their operational context.
The OraVentis solution provides concentration values on a surface as if 10,000 point sensors were deployed both on the ground and in the air. This allows better representativeness in space and time to generate proactive alerts which take into account the concentration of dust, the extent of the cloud, its persistence over time, as well as operating and weather data.
