ORDER SHIPPING CO LTD is a Ship Management Company established in Piraeus, Greece in 1984. The company is a traditional, family-driven Greek maritime corporation, with almost 40 years of experience and continuous presence in the maritime industry. Georgios D. Skiathitis is the managing director of the company and the main shareholder. Skiathitis family is in Shipping business since 1957. The family was initially involved in local and coastal trading, operating small coastal vessels which were trading within Greece and on a later stage within the Mediterranean sea. In 1984 the family’s decision was to expand their business to Handysize vessels. ORDER SHIPPING CO LTD was then established to act as management Company for the company’s interests. Georgios D. Skiathitis assumed the company’s management guiding the company into a modern, expanding fleet. On 2018 Georgios D. Skiathitis established ELIOS NAVIGATION S.A. which is an affiliated company under the umbrella of ORDER SHIPPING CO LTD with main object the management of the new purchased vessels. As managers, ORDER SHIPPING CO LTD and ELIOS NAVIGATION S.A. handle the technical management, operations, chartering, purchasing, inspection and crewing of bulk carrier ships, trading worldwide. In the course of the last ten years, one thing that has changed, is the company’s fleet of ships due to the ongoing process of replacing old vessels with more modern units. As ever the company is well-placed to take advantage of the opportunities of today’s market and the potential that still lies ahead.
