Papaya is the first platform for plant-forward dining to better serve the rapidly growing plant-based market. We’re a restaurant delivery/pickup ordering marketplace working to increase access to and supply of quality, plant-forward meals by cultivating and creating tailored menus from the best local plant-based and plant-forward restaurants. The demand for plant-based foods has grown exponentially in recent years (the market for plant-based CPGs is estimated to reach $26B by 2025). While there’s been a bump in plant-based restaurants, there’s also a proliferation of plant-based menu items at conventional restaurants. Such menu items are often hidden in plain sight, hard for consumers to find except by word of mouth, and hard for restaurants to promote alongside their traditional menu offerings. At Papaya, we’re curating the best of these plant-based offerings. We’ll be developing new concepts to add into the mix, making high-quality plant-based dining more accessible to NYC with the ultimate mission of making restaurant delivery more sustainable.
