Order of the Phoenix

We are joining forces with organizations and professionals from around the world to launch a crisis program for the psychological protection and rehabilitation of Ukrainian children. Just right now 300 thousand children are currently in the area of combat operations. The war is injuring and crippling children not only physically. The war has a severe phycological effect on children’s mental health, and it also negatively affects their future. We will not allow the horrors of war to take away the future of our children. We named the initiative after a coalition of forces of good that opposed Lord Voldemort's Army of Darkness in Joan K. Rawling's fantasy saga «Harry Potter» — a cult for millions of children. The bottom line is that there is no current psychological program in the world that can be taken and transferred to the Ukrainian realities given the scale of the tragedy and local peculiarities. That's why the Order of the Phoenix project was launched. We have brought together government agencies, foreign and Ukrainian experts to create a powerful methodology and systematic training of child crisis psychologists in Ukraine.
