Oregon State University Residence Hall Association

The Residence Hall Association (RHA) is a student-led group working with University Housing and Dining Services at Oregon State University. Their mission is to enhance resident life on campus by making students feel more comfortable and giving them opportunities to have fun. The Residence Hall association represents 4700+ Students across 16 dorms. One of the jobs of RHA is to manage the three campus Area Councils. Area Council is made up of any fee-paying resident of Oregon State University and meet weekly to plan out events for their side of campus and discuss ways to improve campus life as a whole. This gives residents the opportunity to build skills in teamwork, project management, event planning, and effective communication. RHA holds several large scale events throughout the year as well, with thousands of attendees and a variety of fun and educational activities. RHA also attends yearly regional and national conferences where they collaborate with other organizations with the same mission and submit and vote on bids to have people or other groups recognized on a large scale.
