Leveraging our extensive experience, deep knowledge, and unmatched expertise in the production of rock phosphate - a highly sought-after ingredient in fertilisers - we set our sights on extracting and exporting this valuable resource to international markets, thereby contributing to the growth of agriculture worldwide. Inspired by Egypt's reputation as a major supplier of rock phosphate in the region, we made a strategic decision to focus on the extraction and exportation of this essential element. As Orekema continued to grow, we expanded our product offerings to include a diverse portfolio, encompassing chemicals, chemical fertilizers, petrochemicals, and related raw materials. In 2018, Orekema ventured into partnerships with petroleum companies involving the importation and production of chemicals for the petroleum industry.
