Founded in 1982, ORIGINAL AU COTON, commonly referred to as 'AU COTON', is the Quebec's iconic casual apparel brand offering products of enduring quality and exceptional comfort that allow consumers in Canada and around the world to express their own individuality and style.
Selling everything from women’s clothing to leg warmers and accessories, AU COTON had 170+ stores in Canada and several branches in the United States and France.
At the height of its popularity in the 80’s/90’s, the Montreal-based company gained its popularity by retailing very loose-fitting leisure clothes in coordinated pastel colors.
In fall 2018, the Company has restructured its operations and opted to, exclusively, sale online through its e-commerce platform (www.aucoton.com) and opened its first flagship store in Montreal.
Today, the brand still reflects the updated attitude of every age customers, while remaining true to its heritage by remaining AU COTON’s timeless style, trendy and unique.
