The Origination Foundation is a philanthropic organization building a global community of originators — people who imagine, invest in, and act in service of the next seven generations. We believe that hope is not just a feeling—it is a responsibility. A long-term practice. A shared commitment to future generations. Amid rapid transformation, short-termism, and deepening divides, we are convening visionary minds across sectors and generations to reimagine our systems and take meaningful action. From business to policy, science to the arts, we focus on what truly matters: life, dignity, intergenerational wellbeing, and the regeneration of our planet. Our work spans thought leadership, publishing, and convenings. In 2025, we launched Hope for Life on Our Planet, a collaborative book gathering reflections from over 60 global contributors—from heads of state and scientists to poets, entrepreneurs, activists, and youth leaders. The Hope Initiative continues to grow as a platform for connection, long-term thinking, and courageous action. We don’t claim to have all the answers. But we know that the answers we seek will not come from any one sector, generation, or worldview alone. That’s why we are creating space for dialogue, trust-building, and co-creation—across boundaries of power, culture, and geography. We are just getting started. Join us.
