Origin's purpose is to provide a space of creative freedom for those looking for a community of people like them. Our mission is to cultivate a space in which originators can express their creativity, collaborate with other's who participate in the same or different styles of creation, and to inspire newfound passions, and take their existing ones to the next level. Our collective was created as a result of severe lack of opportunity for black and brown originators at Purdue University as opposed to their white counterparts.
