I am a third year student in the general engineering track of the college of Multidisciplinary Engineering and Interdisciplinary Studies at Purdue University. I am doing a focus in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and have demonstrated proficiency in areas such as Material Sciences, Thermodynamics, Manufacturing Engineering and Mechanics. I participated in the first cohort of the STARS summer semiconductor research program at Purdue, where I was able to code, test, and fabricate my own chip design that would be integrated into a synthesizer keyboard. I have worked for the last year as the Chief Career Development Officer for Future Black Leaders and have been aiding in providing college resources and inspiration to African American students in grade school, as well as being a part of several scholarship opportunities for the youth and current college students. I have spent the last 2 summers mentoring incoming first year engineering students, providing them with tools and tips for staying focused and vigilant in their first year of Engineering at Purdue.
