The INKAI UNS Student Organization was established in 1976. Over its development, this student organization experienced a period of dormancy from 1992 to 1994 but became active again in 1995. This revival was driven by the founders' care and passion for karate and the organization. During its early revival and continuous organizational improvement, INKAI UNS was immediately appointed as the organizing committee for the INKAI championship across Surakarta on November 23-24, 1996.
In the following year, INKAI UNS officially inaugurated its new management, with Eko Warsito serving as the chairman at that time. Following the major event in 1996, INKAI UNS continued to achieve consecutive accomplishments, such as organizing the first SEBELAS MARET CUP tournament from March 2-21, 1999. This tournament has since evolved into a national championship and a biennial event under PB FORKI's agenda.
Today, with its achievements and highly competitive human resources, INKAI UNS has become a prominent sports organization both within UNS and in the broader community.
