After years of charting the globe, and doing business throughout, Joe and Lidia Bastianich chose Italy to realize their long-standing dream: to bring hospitality to their family vineyards. Orsone is their first B&B and Restaurant in Europe of their thirty eateries worldwide. Their deep attachment to Friuli Venezia Giulia brought them to Cividale del Friuli. Orsone is a mere stone’s throw from the picturesque medieval village and UNESCO heritage site. You will be charmed by its gourmet restaurant - that combines local tradition and international style – and cozy bed & breakfast. THE RESTAURANT Enjoy the Bastianich’s gourmet cuisine in our refined and welcoming dining room, with a view of the vineyards. The menu speaks to Lidia’s classics, which are both traditional and innovative. The dishes are reinterpreted in a personal way, rendering the cuisine international and contemporary. THE BED AND BREAKFAST Five double rooms are decorated in an elegant and simple style. Furnished in natural materials and tones, the spaces act as a canvas for the colors of the vineyards. We are happy to host COOKING CLASSES, PRIVATE EVENTS as well WINE GUIDED TASTINGS AND WINERY VISITS.
