Since 1990 ORTEC has been developing innovative and leading rail solutions to reduce vibrations generated by rail vehicles and the resulting noise. All our current innovations and future developments are seen in the context of environmentally sustainable working practices. Our aim is to improve noise control, and this ambition is our constant driving force. One of the latest developments to be launched by ORTEC GmbH is the refined version of its tried and tested ORTEC-Flüsterschiene®, which literally translates as "whisper rail". The new "System VIBREX®" flexible suspension for header rails and grooved rails developed by ORTEC GmbH goes yet another step towards eliminating vibrations and noise in our towns and cities and does so even more quietly and even more economically. Environmental protection is very important – not least in connection with traffic and transport, where airborne sound and structure-borne noise affects people and nature along rail lines.
