• Potential modifications and miniaturization can be applied to other medical implants and future applications
NanoBiosensor Technologies
• Radically reduces the potential for Prosthetic Joint Infection (PJI)
• Ability to detect, through integrated, custom designed nanosensors, the presence of surgical and prosthetic joint infection – in real time
• Early detection (and intervention) of a progressing infection provides an additional layer of post-operative patient safety
