Many Victorians are dying each year due to misuse of opioids, and many of these deaths are attributable to pharmaceutical opioids. Orticare’s goal is to change this pattern by improving access to treatment for people with opioid dependency.
We are working to create better access to pharmacotherapy services for all clients living in this region. Our purpose is to support regional health professionals who are providing this treatment through workforce education, clinical support, consultation and promotion.
