Our team of experts thinks that food waste is an important resource to protect our environment. To make this resource sustainable, we need to favourish circular economy projects by recycling food waste into energy and fertilizer, improving the quality of life in urbanized areas. Our goal is to provide on-site solutions to our customers world-wide. Food waste is a major problem for any organization that produces it. They are notoriously difficult to treat and dispose of safely and efficiently and it is the waste stream with the highest probability of contaminating other waste fractions. In recent years the sensitivity towards the recovery for energy and agronomic purposes of the organic component of waste has increased. The European Commission has approved a package of regulations on the circular economy that will force member countries to recycle at least 70% of urban waste and 80% of packaging waste by 2030; while by 2023 biodegradable waste must be collected separately and recycled.
