Oryx Group for Food Services is based in Qatar and owns two most loved restaurant brands – Nando's and Ocean Basket and one home-grown concept Captain Billy's. Incepted in 2001, Oryx Group is a privately held company and a subsidiary of Video Home. The core of Oryx Group lies in delivering great food and service experience to its customers while promoting equal opportunities to its staff. With the strength of over 300 employees, the group aims to be a leader in the industry. The management team consists of seasoned leaders from diverse cultures and experiences. Oryx Group has participated yearly in a range of local events and activities to support various causes –– blood donation, breast cancer awareness, food donation, and accessibility for people with different abilities in its restaurants, to name a few. There are 12 restaurants under Oryx Group, located at prime locations in Qatar. Oryx is also responsible for Nando's grocery and sauce range in Qatar. Nando's sauce range is available in over 1200 retail stores and hypermarkets in Qatar.
