Openspace Foundation

The Openspace Foundation is an organization whose main goal is to support the development of the Polish space sector. Currently, the largest implemented venture is the educational project Opensat, in which a team consisting of students of high schools and universities builds a nanosatellite, which will be powered by perovskite photovoltaic cells produced by the Wrocław company Saule Technologies. It will be a relatively innovative, rarely applied solution. The work is carried out in cooperation with specialists in the field of space technologies, and the participants have the opportunity to develop their skills and gain valuable experience, while learning about the Polish space sector. Our mission is primarily: ✔️ conducting and supporting activities to increase interest in the space sector, among the widest spheres of society, and in particular among youth; ✔️ conducting and supporting activities aimed at developing skills and knowledge in the field of exact sciences, in particular space engineering and astronomy; ✔️ conducting and supporting activities aimed at facilitating young people to start work or business in the space sector;
