OSAREL is a laboratory in the Department of Ocean Engineering, Hasanuddin University with Prof. Ir. Muhammad Zubair Muis Alie, ST., MT., Ph.D-Eng as Head of the Laboratory that so dicipline.
OSAREL is a laboratory that focuses on structural integrity (offshore structures) and ship safety and difficulties such as Buckling/Plastic Collapse Behavior, Ultimate Strength of Ocean Structure, Fatigue Assessment of Structural Member, Structural Reliability, Structural Response, Limit States and Optimization, Large Deflection Behavior of Structural Member.
OSAREL has many facilities to support their final research work. There are four PCs with Gaming specs, Discussion Tables, Wireless Printers, Wi-fi, Projectors, even provided with dispensers, refrigerators and snacks.
OSAREL is known as a laboratory with a workforce with a relatively fast learning time and competence in the field of structure.
