Our goal is to get projects shovel-ready – leaving the client in a position to appoint a design and install team to deliver on the plans we create.
Osmosis ACD is a joint-venture between Osmosis Strategic Consulting and Sciana Systems – both leaders in their field. We draw upon decades of expertise and share a vision of delivering best practice approaches to support high quality retrofit in social housing.
The Managed ACE Model
Osmosis ACD was created to meet demand from social landlords for a genuinely impartial service upstream of the conflicts of interest that arise from appointing installers to carry out the assessment and coordination of retrofit projects. It is a model identified by The Retrofit Academy CIC in a report commissioned by the government called Contracting for PAS 2035 Compliant Retrofit. Osmosis ACD provide the service called Managed Assessment Coordination and Evaluation (MACE).
Our Service:
We provide our clients with the intelligence and analysis they need to make the right decisions about retrofitting their housing stock – in full compliance with BSI PAS 2035. Most of our work is linked to government retrofit programmes such as the Local Authority Delivery (LAD) scheme and the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF).
We do this through:
- Identifying intended project outcomes
- Carrying out dwelling assessments, energy modelling and stock analysis
- Conducting Improvement Option Evaluations to establish the right measures and sequence.
- Creating Medium Term Retrofit Plans that provide a route map to optimal retrofit for any property.
