About oSTEM at University of Houston
For over 5 years, oSTEM at University of Houston has created social, volunteering, academic, and professional development events for LGBTQ+ students in STEM. With 80+ members, our goal is to create safe spaces for queer students to share ideas, experiences, and give back to marginalized communities both on and off campus. We have partnered with over 10 non-profits, including the Houston Montrose Center, Houston Food Bank, Meals on Wheels, Galveston Bay Foundation, and many others. We are looking to partner with companies that share our values and drive to create opportunities for queer students to develop themselves and make an impact.
