About Otter Bio
We have developed fragmentable MHC proteins, a new class of biologic mechanics that precisely discovers more T cell antigens missed by computational methods to become therapeutic leads. This includes the capacity to discover non-canonical MHC class-I peptides missed by AI based approaches. This unique technology preserves stable peptide MHC protein complexes that are more likely to engage, educate and expand the antigenic CD8 T cells. We can make cancers more visible by identifying substantially larger numbers of stable MHC epitopes per mutation - up to five times more peptide misses per mutation than are identified using conventional approaches. This is being used to create new and larger libraries of starting points for next-generation drug discovery and augment existing AI and other methods. Our technique is fast (results within 24 hours) and requires no clinical samples. The stable peptide HLA complexes also allow tuning of additional properties for various theragnostic applications including immune-monitoring of antigen-specific CD8 T cells in patients. Our lead asset is a therapeutic peptide vaccine for KRAS G12D and KRAS G12V mutations.
