The Otto Schoitz Foundation funds local organizations to make the Cedar Valley the best place to live for people of all ages. In 1951, Mr. Otto Schoitz contributed a pacesetting donation that helped open the Charlotte Lee Schoitz Memorial Hospital. Through a partnership with Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, that investment grew over the ensuing decades. Upon the hospital's ownership transfer in 2016, this independent foundation was endowed to improve the health and wellbeing of its community.
