Open University Law Society

The Open University Law Society (OULS) is an active and supportive society for Law students at The Open University. We welcome any OU student with an interest in the legal sector. The OULS runs mooting workshops for its members and internal mooting competitions. There is also a possibility to represent The Open University in external mooting competitions. The OULS holds an online guest speaker series where members can hear from barristers, solicitors, academics and others in the legal profession to obtain information and advice for future careers. The OULS organises tours, such as court visits, providing members with a chance to network with like-minded students. We also hold social events, online and in person.
