1997년 11월 보안 솔루션 개발 및 공급업체인 어울림정보기술이 설립되었다. 어울림정보기술은 방화벽(침입 차단 시스템)과 가상사설망(VPN) 등 보안 소프트웨어를 개발, 공급하는 전문업체다. 주력 제품은 방화벽이며, 자체 개발한 제품으로는 시큐어웍스가 있다. 2000년 미국의 트루시큐어사로부터 방화벽 부문 국제컴퓨터보안협회(ICSA) 인증을 획득했다. 2001년 자체 개발한 VPN제품이 행정자치부의 행정정보보호용시스템으로 선정됐다. 2001년 미국 현지법인인 마이크로시큐어를 설립하면서 해외시장에 진출했다. 2001년 기술신용보증기금으로부터 우량기술기업에 선정되었고, 2002년 코스닥시장에 주식을 상장했다. 2006년 CCTV 전문업체인 전신전자를 인수하고 종합위험관리시스템인 엑티브티알엠을 출시했다. 2009년 11월 펜타시큐리티와 제품 연동 MOU(양해각서)를 체결했고, ‘정보차원관리시스템’에 대한 특허를 취득했다. 2010년 9월 현재 최대주주는 어울림엘시스(주)이며, 16.05%의 지분을 소유하고 있다.
