Welcome to Our COMMON Foundation - A New Chapter Begins.
Founded in 2007 by Dr. Matthew Wilburn King, Our COMMON Foundation began as a philanthropic incubator—supporting bold ideas at the intersection of social impact, environmental sustainability, and public good.
Over the years, we mentored changemakers, launched dozens of initiatives and new non-profits, and helped raise over $5 million to support people and the planet.

What began as a wide-reaching incubator has now evolved into a creative and philanthropic platform—a space for purpose-aligned programs that reflect our deepest commitments.
We’re distilling our mission to focus on what matters most: fostering creativity, honoring the Earth, and sustaining the human spirit in times of global change.

A film project documenting the war in Ukraine and elevating stories of resilience, democracy, and human rights.
