OurCrowd LATAM Labs

OurCrowd LATAM Labs is a startup accelerator based in Montevideo, led by OurCrowd, the Israeli-based venture investing platform, that been selected by the government-backed Uruguay Innovation Hub (UIH) program to operate Uruguay’s first government-backed accelerator. The accelerator is a partnership between OurCrowd, local business incubators Ingenio Incubadora de Empresas (LATU) and Centro de Innovación y Emprendimientos (CIE) - Universidad ORT Uruguay, as well as Mana Tech, a leader in Miami's high-tech ecosystem. The program aims to support and nurture startups in LATAM, providing them with access to global networks, strategic guidance, and financial resources. In this unique partnership, OurCrowd leverages government funding through a unique model that benefits the ecosystem and all parties involved. The capital invested in the startups comes in the form of smart money. This provides additional value to the accelerated startups, meaning that in addition to the capital invested, they can also utilize the services provided by the accelerator, such as: mentoring; a sound and validated business model; marketing strategy; client and new markets research; and introductions to key Multinational Corporations and global industry leaders, creating a holistic value. The accelerator will select approximately 15 startups over a three-year period. Each selected startup will receive up to $300K investment and a 12-months customized support tailored to their specific needs, providing them with access to internationally renowned mentors and ensuring their growth and success in the global market.
