OurKiran is founded to reach the Indian population with the required mental healthcare and wellness resources. The organization has 3 core principles - understanding & seeing things in the Indian context, provision of anonymity and, technology-driven reach. We have one mission - to hear you all, provide a safe space and provide quality access to India and Bharat. We are currently engaged in the following: Trauma-Informed Support for Sexual Assault / Rape / Domestic Violence / Childhood Abuse Being a listener for Mental Health concerns Suicide Intervention (SOS services not currently available - we will keep you posted) Counseling services to understand help and resources available Finding and connecting people to any support needed Family support for people with mental health concerns Rehabilitation of careers for people with disruption in regular work due to mental health concerns Sensitization to build a community-based approach for care
