Out Dare Adventures grew from a single person operation/blog, into a full fledged online adventure travel magazine. ODA had contributing journalists globally submitting content about their epic adventures, which were shared with over 100,000 unique visitors to the website monthly. ODA was one of the first online publications to have sponsored professional rock climbers such as Sierra Blair Coyle, and hosted famous adventurers like Dean Karnazes, Andrew Zimmern, Garrett McNamara, and Alastair Humphreys.
Out Dare was a trusted product review company for many of the top adventure sport manufacturing companies in the world and had a grading system implemented to rank best in industry products for companies like Kelty, Garmin, Under Armour, Hobie, Deuter, Gerber, Eddie Bauer, etc.
ODA was eventually discontinued when founders Benjamin Etherton and James Findlay moved on to the consulting and financial management world in 2014.
