Wij geloven dat kleding meer moet zijn dan alleen een artikel dat je koopt, het is een expressiemiddel, een manier om in contact te komen met anderen.
Daarom kijken wij hoe we mode anders kunnen gaan creëren en consumeren, vanuit het duurzaamheidsperspectief; zelf mode maken, hergebruik en repareren stimuleren met aandacht en respect voor mens en natuur.
Wij willen grenzen verkennen en bevragen tussen verschillende disciplines; Mode als (toegepaste) kunstvorm versus draagbare kunst, sociaal cultureel met een vleugje activisme. Het vinden van creatieve overlap in samenwerking met anderen. Daarom zijn we in 2020 gestart met 'Overlap': een plek waar mensen gedachten over textiel en kleding kunnen uitwisselen met ruimte om te experimenteren.
Het gaat over het veranderen van de manier waarop we mode maken & beleven, ten goede!

We believe clothing should be more than just an item you buy, it is a means of expression, a way to connect with others. That's why we are looking how to make and consume fashion in a different way, from the sustainability perspective; encouraging self-fashion making, reusing and repairing with consideration and respect for people and nature. Exploring and questioning the boundaries between different disciplines; Fashion as an (applied) art form versus wearable art, social cultural with a touch of activism. Finding creative overlap in collaboration with others. That's why we started 'Overlap' in 2020: a place where people can exchange thoughts on textiles and clothes with space to experiment.
