Ovodan Biotech A/S develops high-affinity antibodies for scientific research and diagnostic industries. Based on our unique one-step purification technology we provide customers with ready-to-use polyclonal antibodies targeted toward catalogue biomarkers and custom-made targets. Since 2011 we have served the market with high quality chicken immunoglobulin Y (IgY) purified from egg yolk. Immunization of chickens offers a less stressful and a non-invasive method as known from mammal immunization. It only requires daily collection of eggs, where the yolks contain the valuable antibodies. To ensure a high-quality result, Ovodan Biotech has developed a state-of-the-art technology that offers affinity purified polyclonal chicken antibody (IgY), where more than 99% of the antibodies being highly antigen specific. Furthermore, the process is efficient and optimized for bulk production. At Ovodan Biotech A/S we continuously strive to maintain a catalogue of antibodies toward relevant targets, but we also offer contract immunization for specific targets for science research and diagnostics.
