Own The Story

At Own The Story, we are building a movement — a grassroots, tech-powered initiative that aims to bridge the gap between circumstance and potential. We work across underserved regions of India, starting with Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, to empower children and young adults through access to quality mentorship, and a network of compassionate, skilled volunteers. We are a community of change-makers, united by values of equity, empathy, self-reliance, and cultural pride. Through localized partnerships, programs, and innovative volunteer-led interventions, we’re aiming to rewrite the narrative for those left out of mainstream development story.
